I got my new fry/plant tank set up today and got some daphnia from my LFS to feed my other tanks. I added some to this tank, however they outsize my current fry.
Do they pose a threat to the fry? Will they outcompete the fry for food (infusoria)?

I don’t know from any actual experience but since daphnia are what is known as a filter feeder then no . If the fry are appreciably smaller than the daphnia then I would cast the hairy eyeball of scrutiny upon them to be safe .

Daphnia shouldn't eat baby fish but they will compete for the same food source (algae and infusoria). You can add liquid fry foods, and increase the light to encourage the water to turn green.
