Seachem Purigen Organic Waste Remover
Sounds interesting but i know nothing about it. Any pro's or cons to using this in a freshwater setup please.

It says this on website "Caution: some slime coat products may permanently foul Purigen™ and render regeneration difficult." Does this mean water conditioners. And which water conditioners are best to use with purigen.
Thanks for any info.

I would save my money and give unnecessary stuff like this a miss. If you want to remove organic waste from your fishtank do a water change.

i use it as it removes ammonia so it helps minimize chance of algae, it also polishes the water better than anything else.

i use seachem purigen to be on the safe side, it is cheap & lasts ages. one of the best priced out there, as good as pond dechlorinators!
