I bought two of these fish a couple of months ago from a pet store. They called them "Yellow Giants", I'v done a search on "Yellow Giants" and nothing comes up. I think they just named it that cause they had no idea either.

Does anyone know what they are????

Nope, I dont think it's a moonlight gourami. His body is much shorter than a gourami, any other ideas???

it kinda looks like a hybrid of a kissing and a moonlight -_-

That's what I thought. The lips look like a kissing fish, and the rest looks like a moonlight.

kinda looks like a giant gourami.. but who knows.. it is a little fatty

found a pic of a giant gourami

theres a big one at a store near me... its like 18 inches easily.. in a tank with large jds, parrots, red devils and pikes...

im sure they grow slow, but might wanna get rid of it before it becomes a problem

They're right. It's a young pink giant gourami. They get really, really ugly when they get larger, and outgrow most standard aquarium sizes.

i think theyre cool.. if i had the tank space id get one, but im so dumb i have 5 irridescent sharks, so i guess tank space really doesnt mean much to me hahaa

Giant gouramis are my dream fish.. I'd be jealous if I had a tank large enough for one :/

Yup, unfortunately for me they are giant gourami's. I'm gonna have to sell them, it's such a pity cause they are very sweet fish. I wish pet stores would warn against buying them unless you have the right tank size. I’ve got a big tank but definitely not big enough for them when they are older!

Thanks for the input everyone!! :)
