Does Anyone Know How To Do A General Search..

I've got yet another question to ask about sand,but I know all the info I could possibly ask for is on this site somewhere, trouble is, I don't want to spend hours trawling through each forum looking for it. Is there anyway I can just type in "sand", and all the posts will miraculosly be listed on screen?

yes.
click on the search button (top right corner, under the avertisment banner)
then click more options.
this brings up the full search page where you can enter sand.
you have the option to search all forums and confine your search to topic titles only (suggested)
or search in all posts, which will bring up every topic that has ever had the word sand in it.

Silly me, I thought that was just a search for Tropical Fish Forever!
Don't really know what my sand question is really, just have bags of sand sitting outside, and a tank full of water and fish inside, its going to be a big job, and I want to read everything there is to read before I start!!!

you can refine your search to a specific forum, i'd suggest at least initially refining it to just the FAQ and pinned topics section, that's the best most accurate info (usually!) and I know for a fact there's a few good sand topics in there. i only widen the search if i can't find anything there. if you just search all of TFF for sand topics you'll get millions!
