Get really fat when it is due to have babies?

I have a female who has a black gravid spot, but she still looks lean.
I guess she is only just at the beginning of her pregnancy?

I wasnt sure if all females went fat when near the end of their pregnancy.

hi,
female guppys tend to have a square look towards the end of pregnancy. some get huge some dont. as yours has the black gravid spot already just keep an eye on her, any signs of hideing or getting grumpy can mean the birth wont be to far away, when she had her fry her next batch will be in roughly 4weeks.

She is as lively as can be so I dont think she is going to deliver any day soon,
Swimming madly up and down the tank.

She (Twinkle ) is a beauty she has a lovely blue tail I am not sure how to
add a picture would love to if I knew how. I tried but it didnt work
