OH YES!!!!!!! I love most marineland products. I have their HOT Magnum canister and Its probably the best HOB filter I have ever owned. Their heaters are SOOOOO much better than the Tetra Whisper ones (in my opinion). The Marineland heaters can be set to a temperature instead of having to play around with them for several hours to try to get the temperature right (though the Whisper heaters are a lot cheaper). The Biowheel filters by Marineland are a lot better than the Whisper filters but have the misfortune of clogging up quickly in a heavily stocked tank. Whispers attempt at biological filtration (a sponge in front of the filter cartridge) is really quite sad in comparison to the biowheel in the Penguin and Emperor filters.

So yeah, the Whisper products are cheap but not as good quality as Marineland (in my opinion).
