Your not really overstocked as long as you have adequate filtration and keep up with your maintenance....the inch per gallon rule is just a guideline and are for people who doesn't like to do water changes......However this doesn't apply to all types of fish as some would really prefer swimming space and might be agressive and territorial if it's not provided to them.....Just my 2 cents...
