Very good question, had to confir that one As much as I concider the fish themself's as part of my pets I think overall fish keeping is a hobby of mine

Thats how i feel too. but i dont get attached to them like i am to my dogs.

never really gave it much thought! more of a hobby i think but i do get attached to some fish such as my plecs so i consider them pets.

Yeah I agree I consider it a hobby but have had one or two fish in the past that I would consider "pets".

I agree with Hobby, but if you have a tank setup for a "wet pet," like an oscar, then I would definitely think of it as a pet. I have bettas, too, but I really think of one as my real pet... shh don't tell the others!

Yes i would have to agree with you guys. Fish such as oscars and goldfish you can get attached to. Specially since i can hand feed and pet my goldfish.
