and then when you ask for 1 male and 3 females they start pi55ing and moaning " well if i do that mate i will only end up with a tank of males". Bearing in mind the old 3(2) - 1 ratio... then they shouldnt bloody offer them in those amounts at a set price !!

next time tell him if he does not like it you can easily go somewhere else.

i used plattys cause it was the first thing that popped into my head. I actually experienced it with buying 4 swordtails... to which i responded to the guy in the shop

"so if one of the females changes to a male, can i bring it back !"
