my first red oscar, who knows could turn out to be an angel

just wondered if anyone esle found diffrent types to have diffrent personalites by breed rather than just being individual , i reckon tiger oscars are just born naughty what do u think?

I think they all have different personalities, I suggest however, that you make sure the babies cant see Jambo, or they may copy him!!

lots of spaces left to fill if i start dumping the sofa,beds etc ... nar in reality i could probably fit one more big one in here.. hopefully intime to get that pair of albinos, but then on the other hand i have to keep a tank spare incase D-Bo and Blade dont get on when they get older,,, but im sure i`ll find space somehwere, where theres a will theres a way
but no the babies cant see Jambo, theyre upstairs.. thank goodness,come to that Day-Day cant see him either, thats probably why hes so laid back

have a garage going spare too so who knows.... i could stash a fair few tanks in there and no one ever goes in there

Tigh, my oscar, is so close to a naughty, excitable puppy

Always 'wagging' at me and begging for food, likes to redecorate already.. plays in the bubbles and gets a proper face on when I do a gravel clean


He also spends a fair amount of time chasing the Plec around the tank (who i am sure is taunting him lol)

My oscar Thor is like a police officer. Always patrolling around the tank looking in all the small spaces to see if there's anything peculiar going on. i was going to say "fishy" but i wouldn't feel right about that pun. I think he's a tiger oscar, maybe a red. it's your call.

Ive found the white and Albino Oscars are more placid then the troublesome normal ones...That is just from my experience ....

Shelagh you really need help naming your oscars...Just remember mate we are here for you!

Pumba has turned into quite the devilish little puppy. *ReMz shakes head*...... tank mates are out of the question I think. Poor Sailfin Pleco has been getting abused to no end. Pumba thinks he is pretty tough beating up something that doesn't bite back .

I would get Live Rock, as far as I am aware you dont need special lighting for LR and it will filter your tank better then any External Filter... You got powerheads on your list?
