hi!!!!

i got 5 platy's and 22 tetras on my tank right now and today my mate is getting mollies and swordtails from hes mate as he is going 4 marine set-up but my friend tank is not setd-up and hes is going to abroad 4 in about 2 weeks time for 4 weeks, so he told me if i cant keep them for him untill he cames back...
So my question is can platy's and tetras get along with molies and swordtail??? :dunno:

also i got a betta in the tank but he is divided in a part

No problem. They should get along fine. Just make sure your tank has enough capacity to hold all of them.

As already mentioned, as long as your tank will not be overstocked, then they can live peacefully together.

Mind if i ask what size tank you have?

i dont know in gallons but the size is 80cm x 30cm x 45cm

I have all those fish in my tank and they all get on great, (except for the betta)

You really will need to find out about your tank though, as overstocking is a big no no, and you may well lose some of your own fish not to mention your friends in the process.

but all mine get on great (bearing in mind that male swordtails can be very aggressive on their own, and need a couple of ladies IME)
