She wont be as fat when she is finished droping, but yes, I still saw the gravid spot on mine after she gave birth. It's been 3 weeks since she dropped, she's fat again, and in about ten days, I should have more.

BTW Congrats on the babies.

yeah im majorly excited i have now got 13 fry onmy hand i bet she ate a few of them as they keep venturing out into the top of the trap

Now this is the special thing about Swordtails, is they can store the males seamen, and so will not need the male to reproduce from now on, so it seems like your female may have store the seamen and you can expect many fry



Another interesting fact you may wish to aware of is that Swordtails can change their gender at thier own will, they can change from a female to a male, and Vice ser verser...
