Do Kissing Gourami's Harass Other Gouramis When Kept Together?

I have one blue gourami, two gold gouramis and two moonlight gouramis in my tank.

I recently added a pair of medium sized kissing gouramis. I asked the aquarist if they can be kept along with the other type of gouramis I have in my tank. He said its absolutely fine to keep them. But afterwards the moonlight gouramis started to settle at the bottom of the tank most of the time and used to come up just to take food. Today one died and other is struggling for death. As far as I have observed the kissing gouramis did not harass/chase them. Also there are no visible wounds.

What shall I do? Should I keep the kissing gourami's separate? Someone please advice.

Thank you.

They are aggressive fish and are not good for a community tank. I would stay way from the kissing Gourami I have heard mostly bad things about them. Unless you want to keep a tank of only these guys that could work. BUT sometimes it comes down to the fish personality. One fish of the same kind could be really mean and the other could be ok with other. So it depends.

Here check out this link with comments from people that have kept this fish.
