Do I Still Need To Fishless Cycle From Scratch?

I bought a tank and stuff from someone local. She gave me about two or three quarts of gravel/water from her 180gal tank. I set up the tank today and added the mature gravel/water. Will it be enough to get some good bacteria growing or do I need to start fishless cycling from scratch anyways?

i wont add much bacteria wise, i say go fishless cycling, you need mature media really
