Do I Really Need All These? For 10gal

hey i got a 10gal tank here, and i just want something thats looks nice and relaxing, i was planing to do a planted tank(but not soo many plants) and some simple fish, and i just want to noe if i really need , a heater, or water pump, and a filter. i do have a filter and some lighting but it isnt for this tank. soo do i really need all tthis suff?

My guess would be yes, not to mention that tank maintenance on a tank with no filter/pump would be really demanding and it won't be a very healthy environment for your fish. You don't need the heater if you do cold water fish. You could do a school of white cloud mountain minnows or a single fancy goldfish for instance.

Do you already know what kind of fish you want?
