I just got myself an api kh test kit and its saying that my water is 179 (10 drops)
I read on their paper work this is too high for my fish and live plants. what would be the best way to lower my kh and keeping it there.
I have a community tank with keyhole cichlids, bolivian rams, mollies, apistogramma cacatuoides, apistogramma borelli, rummynose tetras.
I have had all of these over a year, most nearly 18 months and all seem to be doing fine, although one of my bolivian rams is unwell at the moment and someone suggested to me to test my kh and thats where I am today.
