Hi guys!

I just got my CO2 tank setup and connected to the reactor. As far as I can tell, everything seems to be working fine. Should I still do some sort of leak test? I hate to spray windex anywhere near a fish tank unless I absolutley have to.

The instructions in my D&D system said to take a solution of soapy water and apply it lightly with a brush to areas that could potentially leak (ie threads etc) You're meant to look for fizzing and bubbles but this isn't easy 'cos the solution bubbles on application anyways (being soapy and all).

I did find however, that my guage showed I was loosing pressure quite quickly (like 1/4 bar every half hr or so) so there obviously was a leak somewhere. So my advice to you is if you discover any, get yourself some PTFE tape, apply liberally to any threads and tighten everything you can with a spanner.
