sorry they wont stay still.
Tank history;
was fishless cycled that completed end of August; all fish added at same time; water stats have been consistently good since tank was started; I have 8x filtration vis 2 external filters.
The only thing that has happened recently is we went away on holiday. My neighbour was coming in to feed the cats and unbeknown to me my OH asked her to feed the fish (I was just gonna let them get on with it!) anyway when OH went round to thank neighbour she said she thought she may have over fed them - that was an understatement and a half! There was poo all over the place - I've never seen so much in there; one of the gouramies looks pregnant it is so fat. I did an immediate water test (all ok) and water change and sand vac to remove poo. We got bak on Friday and I havent fed the fish since we returned home and they are still pooing for England - I dread to think how much food was going in.
Anyway - I wonder if the fish are now reacting to the over feeding or if they do have gill flukes that have been exacerbated by the food o/d. The pearl danios did have red gills before we went away but they were not flicking like they are now.
Any help much appreciated
