Do Guppies Shed Their Skin

hi all this may seem a silly question but do guppies really shed their skin ? and why ?

after i brought 5 guppies from (pets at home) i noticed a skin in the bag when i got home . at first i thought it was a old dead fish then realised it was a skin , all my fish have been

fine and still are however i did notice (pets at home) kept some fish with shrimps and presumed the skin belonged to the shrimps (although they wernt in the guppy tank ) then i

spotted a thread on here so can someone let me no is it true and why ? curious mainly , also wondering if it came of mine will it be ok and been in my tank over week now.

Guppies dont shed... so yes you are right, it may be a shrimp skin.
