Do Fish Get Cataracts?

My keyhole who's a bit of an old boy has developed a small grey cloudy patch in the centre of each eye. Looks like cataracts but never thought fish could get it. Could this be with his old age? It hasn't covered much of his eyes yet, but will it eventually?

Hmmmm topic moved, wouldn't of thought this was an emergency......... so either it isn't or it is and someone isn't telling me?

Yes, they can get cataracts. Not too common, but they can.

Fish Cataracts - here's a little info. I'm not sure about it being a fungal growth though
