Do Danios Or Neon Tetras Do Better With Male Bettas?

Going to return some fish to finish my cycle. But wondering if its worth in the future to go and get danios again or get neon tetras?

Neither are particularly wonderful.

Zebra danios are a bit too zooooomy for bettas, it can freak them out. Neons caan be a bit nippy.

I have my betta in with a shoal of Chilli Rasboras (Bororas Brigittae) but most rasbora species are fine. Endlers are also good small tank mates.
