Do Dalmation Mollies need a lot of room?

I have a 2.5 gal tank and am thinking about what to put in it. I love the look of the dalmation molly but is that enough room for them?? Can they be alone??

maybe for one and yes mollys are very communal fish i wouldnt recomend it maybe a guppy or a betta ??
