Do you already have some cichlids now? If so do you know the names of the species you have?

No. However bubbles will increase the oxygen levels in the tank, however you don't NEED them, aslong as you have good surface agitation from an external filter you should be ok, but it won't hurt to have bubbles.

Totally depends on the species of the fish. You have a mix of new world and old world cichlids. They require quite different water conditions and foods. I'm no expert on african cichlids so I recommend you post in that forum if you want advice on them. With african cichlids you can overstock (depending on species). And with new worlds its better to have less fish.
What I would do is decide which you like better, the african or american cichlids, then rehome the ones you don't want and post back here for stocking advice.

Again depends on cichlids

They may just be settling in and not used to you yet. Though some fish are skittish, others are bold and will swim to the front of the tank.

and why dont they eat?
They may be settling in and getting used to their surroundings, depends on how long you have had them. I would check the water paramaters and do water changes if neccessary.

THANKS!!! very very greatfull! i have an external filter on the way :D so thats good

ok witch fish are african or american because i like the

Pseudotropheus "blue" x4
Labidochromis "yellow"x4

witch i think are lake malawi

Yeah, they would be the african ones.

I don't know alot about them, so if you decide to keep them I would post in the other forum and ask for stocking advice.

Pseudotropheus "blue" I'm guessing is this fish:

The Labidochromis "yellow"x4 I think may be this fish:
http://www.cichlid-forum.com/profiles/species.php?id=1669

Both are lake Malawi Mbuna, both links provide brief care details.

The angels prefer a more acidic, softer water.

The Nics can get quite big, males to 10"
http://www.cichlid-forum.com/profiles/species.php?id=68

I think it would be best to rehome the angels and nics if you want africans, as the water conditions are different and so are the temperment of the fish, I can see the angels being beaten.
