All three of them are, but Platy number two is most definately the closest to birth. I'd keep a very close watch on her. The others arent very far along at all.
To me they don't seem too far pregnant since you cannot see any darkness of a gravid spot(hence no developed babies inside yet). Or maybe its harder to view the gravid spot on platies....
I don't think they're very far along, my platy is pregnant at the moment, and her belly has almost doubled in size, it's really amazing...
she's a one-fish fryfactory...
i would say that fish number 2 is for sure. this colour fish doesnt get a gravid spot but you can actually see the fry developing inside. its really neat.
hello. I've got two female platties that colour. I've been watching for about 2 weeks for their gravid spots to show, now I know they won't get one. Mine (1 of them) looks like the #2 fish. THe other one did, but it got skinny again. I'm assuming it had it's fry and they all got eaten. bummer.
