Do All Severums Get Big?

seen some very nice red severums and also rednecked sevs which are dark inky blue colour with red bleadding thro towards the head.i read they can reach 12 inches as adults.do all strains reach this size?

All severums can reach 12" but in aquariums often around 8". but then again you may get one that only reachs 6" like some full grown men rach 5ft where as most reach around 6ft. but its unlikey your fish will reach 12" bigest id say is 10" but rarely that so around 8" it will grow to.
 
I saw some wild caught severum in a store. They were abought 6". I have some young ones. They are abought 3 to 4" and the larger ones are changing there coleration to the adult colors. Don T.
 
your talking at minimum really for a normal Severum - Heros Severus or Heros Efasciatus - 6-8"
Mine is a couple of years old now and is about 8 inches
