i am going to add another small peice of wood into my aquarium after it has boiled and soaked etc. and because it's for my elephant nose, i would like broadish leaved plant and as i already have quite alot of java ferns, i would like it to be something difference and maybe red if possible. maybe a few different spieces too

thanks

As far as I know, only a few plants will attach to wood, ferns like you already have, anubias and mosses. I dont think other plants will in the same way. An anubias species might suit your needs, as they have broad, oval/round leaves, although they aren't red. Worth a look though.
