Found this on another site, thought i should post it here. It's an overflow made out of pvc. This way you dont have to drill a tank to use a sump. It's made out of 1" pvc fittings. I plan on using it for my 15 gal future reef. 1" is pretty big for 15 gallons, but i put a ball valve on it so i can regulate the flow. I have not tried it in my tank yet, i still need to move stuff around. I will post back when i try it.
All the parts...
The ball valve
Check valve to get rid of possible air pocket
Finished: I know its a bit messy, and somewhat uneven, but its my first time working with pvc.
I did not make this design up, i saw it on another site and thought it would help many if i posted it here.
