ive Been looking at making a fish tank an had a couple questions first was should I use glass or plexiglass another question is should I use support bars or not I’m planning on making a 20 or 30 gallon long

Making an aquarium yourself is more profitable than buying a new one or someone else's? The time spent on making an aquarium is also taken into account.

I think you should use acrylic

I don’t care much for acrylic aquariums

They are easy to scratch

You can’t put any type of aquatic life that likes to clean the acrylic with there mouth and teeth

I did once make a couple of bulletproof pleco caves

Out of a big piece of bulletproof window that was being thrown away

A friend gave it to me and asked me if I could make pleco caves out of this thing.

I took on the challenge and made a few of them

The ones I made in my spare time.

When I was able to make them.

These pleco caves were never meant to go into any type of aquariums

They were just show pieces
