the leagal list for importation is about 1 or 2 pages.
barely anything in comparison to whats availible from the wild. examples are stuff like plecos, that have thousands of fish in their family but i think there are 2 or three available to us ie plecos, bristlenoses and i think gibbicepts (pardon my #### spelling). another example are frontosa's that r not on the list but have been breed from stock previous to the creation of the list, or smuggled in.
however our climate is suited to tropical fish and as we already have a prob with ferral fish already ie carp, convict cichlids, mollies etc etc its not that bad to make do and we never have to pay for rocks or logs if you have an imagination and some shoes.
