ive done research, i have it all set up, except.....

i just read somewhere that for 50g u might need more than 1 2-liter bottle. i sthis true?

How many bubbles per second would u recommend for a 46 gallon (what i have), and do u just count this by how many bubbles come out the end of the tubing?

thanks

someone please, i raelly want to finish this today before my work week starts.

thanks

If you want to count bubbles and be precise about things, a home made job is unlikely to work for you. The CO2 production rate with the basic home reactors is FAR from constant.

I use 2 reactor bottles, and a third as a simple plenum. The first bottle is set running, about 2/3rds of the way through it's life, I start the second, and then continue. That way the new bottle tops up the reducing effort of the first bottle.

I introduce the CO2 directly into my filter inlets, so never actually see the bubbles.
