Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but do the DIY CO2 systems (2ltr bottle, sugar, yeast) leave a film on the glass. I get that white gunk on my outlet hose and the collection bell, but does this mixture bond with the CO2 leaving the bottle and leave a white film?
I've been using a DIY setup for a few weeks now and LOVE the response I've gotten from it. My only concern is this white byproduct. I know it's harmless as my fish take nibbles at it on occasion, but does anyone else have issues with white gunk?
