Dividing Swords, Java Ferns And Anubias?

Just want to know how you divide swords, java fern and anubias so I can do it to mine when the time comes to get my tank filled in?

Its not as easy as chopping a leaf off and planting it like stem plants is it?

i dont know about anubias or swords but i know that, a java fern has a central running stem that all of the fronds(leaves) originate from,
so if you cut along the central stem you will be able to divide each individual frond or group of fronds from each other..
