I'm about to make my first divided tank for my new boys but I'm not sure how you'd stop them jumping into each other's tanks. Do you fix some mesh on top too? If you do, how does it not melt on the light?

1 of mine has nothing over it the other that has jumpers in just has a regular condensation tray :good:

There's always an easy answer  thank you.
Also, I'm debating dividing the 14 gal into 3 so Steve and the new two can share since it's already cycled and my spare light for the bigger tank has gone AWOL with the hood. Only thing is the little otos and corys. I'm going to try to make little tunnels at ground level for them to get through so they still have free range of the whole tank but obviously so the bettas can't get through. Is there easier way to do that too?

i have mine divided with Kuhlis in there, with sand substrate the Kuhlis get underneath but not the Bettas :good:
