okay well i have a ten gallon tank, 8 fish...[guppies]
and of course at the pet sotre i couldn't tell their sexes, and i can't return them or anything
so! i was wondering if i could maybe divide my tank in half well more like..1/3 and 2/3s
because i have 3 females and 5 males..HORRIBLE! yes i know..
but i can't retunr them or anything and i don't have neough money to buy a seconde tank to seperate them
and one of the females continusly get harassed..
i was hoping someone could help me find a way to build a divider for the tank
i have PLENTY of that stuff that you use to make window screens..
and it'd be great if i could use that because i'm not going to go out and buy some glass and drill holes and stuff in it..
so ya, if anyone knwos how to do it with the window screen stuff please tell me!!!
i REALLY need to know because i feel so bad for the females and it's hard watching them get harassed.

well i've been looking around the site, seen alot! of the plexiglass and stuff..
but i can't use that..well i could but i wish to use what i already have..
should i use a hot glue gun and just use that to glue the window screen..{mesh?} to the walls?
well i guess i'll probably do that unless if someone tells me another way LOL!
:good:

well since no one replied i cut the mesh stuff so that it was 2 inches higher in height that my tank so i could put 2inches folded under the rocks so it would stay like that, then for the top part i used two paperclips to keep it up!
works perfectly and costed me nothing..but it's also only temporary! haha
the females seem alot better now too..
only thing was that i have some pleco [not a big one] and an albino cory catfish..
i put one on each side..but they're kinda pissed off because they can't go to the other side..
anything i could maybe do?
should i switch their sides everyweek?
or what?

I don't think it would be a good idea to keep swapping them about. For one I should imagine it would unsettle them to keep moving them about. As long as your plec has some bogwood and somewhere to hide he should be ok. As for your cory I really don't know but I understand they should be kept in groups of 3 or more. Might be worth checking it out.

yes i already know the cory supposed to be in group thing i got him when i iddn't know and now they don't sell them anymore.
and the pleco has plenty of hiding spots and stuff so he should be fine..it's more just the cory that i was worried about :X
