Dividing A 26g For 2 Male Bettas

Hi all I just saw an amazing betta in a pet shop and thinking of buying him I have a 26g with a single male ( who I love) if I divid my tank half way with a net divider or should I divid it with something they can't see each other with my betta personality is extremely aggressive but let's me hand feed him pat him and such (nice guy to his food source but a tool in general

Yes they should have dividers that don't let them see each other, or that can at least be blocked. Most people actually put up two dividers, with the tank's filter and heater in the middle section. Also, the dividers need to be buried in the sand/gravel and reach all the way to the top of the tank's cover. Bettas have a habit of jumping over their dividers so this extra partitioned space will help prevent your boys from getting into the same area and ripping each other up. There are tons of DIY divider tutorials on different forums, I'm sure if you Google it you will find something that suits your needs
