I need advice about what I can buy or make to use as dividers for a 20/30 gallon tank for my 6 male Bettas. Bought 2 of those cheap tanks (no name) and the fish wiggled around the plastic divider!!.Most stores sell this flimsy see- though stuff that looks like a disaster in the making ! In a real bind as right now I have 6 individual tanks and a  real P.I.T.A. to keep clean. The larger tank will of cause be flitered and heated as needed. Thxs for all advice

This thread is a journal of my 10 gallon divided betta tank: http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/420277-sushi-and-ember/

I made the divider using:

The binding clips from these guys: http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/464644/Office-Depot-Brand-Custom-Showfile-Display/;jsessionid=0000bzDW_ULJm9pYgCQ9P0lJzIR:17h4h7ado

and these guys: http://www.joann.com/plastic-canvas-8-1-2-x11-2-pkg/prd32529/

I doubled up on mine. I also have a filter on each side to promote water movement. (made the filters as well)

Cut the cross stitching stuff to size, slide into the binder bindings (I did one on each side) and slide into tank, ensuring a tight fit. You can silicone the bindings into place and then slide the cross stitching backing in for extra security.
