Divided Tank Project

So a week or so ago I purchased a 60L tank off of ebay for £60, it included all necassary items, and even more unnecassary ones

I have decided to split the tank into three sections for 3 more bettas.

Placing the tank on my desk

Dividers in, started filling with sand

Just filled with water and put in plants. Waiting for sand to settle now then will do more pictures.

Also the plants dropped a lot of bits on the sand so it looks really dirty, not sure on the best way to clean it all up short of siphoning the bottom and filling again -__-

First inhabitant, a marblegene VT boy from Pip should arrive next week

Getting 1 boy from Pip, not sure where the other 2 are gonna come from yet XD

Oh Good! Bettas are always brill from pip ive had 3 of her and all are healthy and in good condition When will the tank be ready for fish?

Tank really is ready now, for 2 bettas that is, still want to sort out the far right section, as it has the filter in there it will be smaller, and I haven't been able to find any more pieces of wood with large leafed plants attached to it. I went into a different LFS to my normal one yesterday and they had a few fighters, blue and red vt's, not sure if I really want them though, none really jumped out as sort of 'TAKE ME HOME!' if you know what I mean =/

Yeah, I'm not really in a rush, I'd rather get 2 fabby boys eventually than 2 okay boys right now XD

Well whatever you pick your gonna have the betta for say 2 years so you may aswell get some you like!

Yup, well the tank is all sorted now, put the filter that had been cycling in the other tank in and sorted out the spray bar, gonna pop my danios in there later just to keep the tank cycled Now I can start looking for boys to fill the other 2 spaces

Just took some quick snaps, not especially good. Uploading them now. The boy I'm getting from Pip is the marble VT from the other forum, unfortunatley with all this postal strike stuff I don't know how long it'll be till I get him D=
