I use Seachem's Equilibrium powder to add mineral content to RO water prior to adding it to my tank.

I replace water in batches of about 35L but I have problems getting even 1/4 to 1/3 of a teaspoon of powder to completely dissolve in the RO water. This of course has a knock on effect for the GH readings I take. No problems with the 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda I add though.

Does any one have any simple solutions for making sure 100% of the powder dissolves?

I've tried adding small amounts to mixing jugs and stirring etc, but no real joy...

I would heat the water up a little first, just like making a cup of tea the sugar dissolves better in hot water than cold.

I would do like Scales

Get some of your water hot (i'd boil it) and mix your powder in there then mix it in with the rest of your RO water
