Diseases!

well i was wondering if there is any bottled desease killer as in stops fish gettin any disease before they have any deseases, may be a rediculous question but after reading some of the articles of here id rather buy summit to stop them from getting any deseases before the chance they could get 1. more than worth an ask even if it is a ridculous question

stress is a big trigger for disease outbreaks in fish. the best way to prevent disease is to have happy fish, basicly , keep fish happy in good water and quarentine new arrivals , and you should find that you rarely if ever have to fight disease.

Soaking there food in garlic juice is good. As it meant to boost there immune system.

Stress, poor water quality, over stocking,unstable temp, not quarantining new fish are all contributors to fish deseases.

I know this isn't ideal but I also know I'm not the only one that does this - medicines such as Myaxin and Interpret's Genernal Tonic work generally against bacteria and if you don't have a Q tank like I don't they can be dosed when you add new fish as a preventative. Obviously it's not going to work against everything, especially if the fish are already showing symptoms of illness but I personally feel like it helps to do it. I may have just been lucky with my fish (only lost 2 through illness, both brough on my stress)or it could be coz I do this. I don't know.

The tonic meds in my opinion are a waste of time and money.
Also using meds every time you add new fish they won't work when you need to use them. As the fish will build a resistance up to them.
