Fish Symptoms (include full description including lesion, color, location, fish behavior): most of the fish infected stay at the bottom except when being fed, no loss of appitite, white like fungus small patches, nothing else has changed from their normal selves.
Volume and Frequency of water changes:25% once a week
Chemical Additives or Media in your tank: only normal pad media no carbon atm as its been taken out.
Tank inhabitants:
2 - cichlasoma spilurum-jade eye chiclids
7 - herotilapia multispiosa-rainbow chiclids
6 - parrot chiclids
2 - helostoma temmincki-kissing gourami's
1 - macropodus opercularis-paradise fish
Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration):2 baby parrot chiclids, ones died, i belive these to be whats caused it all as their the only thing to change from normal.
Exposure to chemicals: they were treated for velvet brought in from some firemouths which all died but was contained to only them but whole tank was treated.
i think it is fungus after reading descriptions but some of the fish have a bit of tail damage, lots of white patches that stick off the body not like worms like patches.
planning on going to a good lfs (wons lots of awards always given me good advice)near me tomorrow to ask them.
any help always appreciated
