Hi. Thanks for responding. I have kept discus for 17 years. I currently have a 90 gallon tank which had 8 discus, 14 cardinal tetras, 25 rummynose tetras and 4 dwarf puffers (they are so tiny but use them for snail control). The temp is at 86 degrees, ph is 6.8, hardness is average city water (not hard or soft), moderately planted and includes driftwood, I clean it once every week (50% water change), 2 Eheim filters that together are rated for 120 gallons, 13 watt UV sterilizer. Now to the issue. I noticed 2 of my discus have become very thin. So, I moved them into my 20 gallon hospital tank and treated with Praziquantel, 2 times 10 days apart. To no avail. Then I treated with Metronidazole for 10 days. Waited a month to see if they would gain weight but, again, to no avail. Now I have started them on Kanamycin. They are eating very well and their fins are erect and look good. I'm at a total loss. Got any ideas?
