Discus

i have some small orange and black corys with mine. sorry forget proper name.

Depends on size of your tank, but a few i think might be suitable:

Caridnal tetras
Black neon tetras
There are a couple of other tetra's that i can't remember the name of
Cory catfish

hmmm not sure, to do well in a community, the discus has to be the dominant fish in the tank, so it's better to stick to smaller fish. Not sure but maybe some rams? (others might have to confirm or disagree with this)

They shouldn't do, they are usually peaceful fish. So as long as the other fish can't fit in the mouth of the discus they should be fine.

What type of discus do you have?

im thinking of getting them i havnt got any i was just wondering what i could put in a tank with them

and one last question are they hard to look after ???

Have you looked after fish before?

If not i'd maybe advise against getting discus, they aren't the easiest fish to look after

Main reason for this is that, discus love really clean water, and they need really clean water to grow properly, i've heard of people changing water daily for them. This leads to debate about whether or not to use gravel (it's easier to keep water clean without gravel)

If you do decide to get them, make sure you get a minimum of 6, because they are schooling fish.
