I am having a problem with my heater and the tank temp dropped now one of my discusis swimming all crazy he is doing flips but he is swimmin fast he also looks like he has some dark spots on him one on the head and one on his side color on him is all darker normally blue now more of a black
I have to get a new heaters to day at 82 f the temp would not go over like 78 so I put warm water in milk containers and floted them in there all night but the temp never got over 81 F I tried turning it all the way up and all the way down but even all the way up it never got over the 81 mark they all keep turning off (3x300) Visi-Therm Deluxe Heaters

With him getting stressed I just want you to take a look at this, don't panic just want to rule it out.

I dont think it is this he is not going to the dark areas of the tank he is just swimming crazy and not eatting I moved him to a different tank because the other one was now picking on him

The temp drop has made him ill I'm afraid it only takes stress.
Glad it not the discus plague just wanted to rule it out.
Issolate him and try a bacterial med.
Is he flicking and rubbing.

yes but I dont think he is gonna make it his fins look like they are shreaded to now he is not moving much I moved him to a small tank by himself and put in bacterial med but I dont think it will work my other one is fine no problem at all

Ok sorry discus are very sensitive and with the heater breaking the stress has just fetched the illness on faster.
