in a panic? what do you mean or darent i ask?



well me and siobhan have got our first day off together in about 2 months so were jus chilling out!


first day on a new job, he left his certificate at home and they won't let him on the job without it, had to get there for 8.15 so he's had to taxi home and back to get it, then he rang from home cos he couldn't find it. just general flap really. :rolleyes: he's found it now and hopefully got there to start on time, not heard otherwise adn he'd have rang if they'd sent him home.
 
lol at sam about xmas ...... my lfs owed me a favour soz managed to blag him 4 discus for £15 off a mate he said..... so havent seen the fish yet....

I wouldnt buy them without seeing them, that sounds too cheap for them to be a decent size or of any quality
 
went last night to the guys fish house never seen so many nice discus fish in my life ...

dont know that much about discus fish yet but after last night i just want discus fish now in my tank....
heres the fish paulf are they any good? i got 2 of each.... carnt remember what there called now, but there lucky to be alive they were in bag in my car for over 2 hours , stuck in traffic in brimingham yesterday...
the stripy ones are about 3" and the other ones are about 2"

where or who did you get them from?

Personally, I would have gone for bigger fish as they are still quite small.
 
do they look of good quality? what types are they think he said one was white red or somrthing like that......

fort id start with small ones as didnt really want to spend big on them yet.....
 
I would have gone for bigger fish also, but hey it's a bit late now lol.

One looks kinda rugby ball shaped in the pic, if it looks like that in real life then it's not ideal. The fish could be stunted, but having said that some are perfectly fine even though they are slightly misshapen and will grow on and do well.

Whats your tank setup? I see there is nothing in it from your sig, I hope it has been cycled. I'd keep Discus in a bare bottom tank for ease of maintenance, especially at such a small size.
