Discus

hi, I was just wondering could discus live with guppies? also, do discus have to live in a group and what tankmates/decor are recommended? sorry for so many questions.

I wouldn't put guppies with Discus, I would seriously recommend reading a book specifically about discus before keeping them because for the money you are paying for them you want to know what you are doing. Discus are very sensitive fish that require very warm water, PERFECT water quality, lower Ph and good quality food. So definatly spend the 10-20$ on a good discus book before you buy them...

Guppies will most likely be eaten, yes diskus do like to be in groups, as for decor: plants; lots and lots of plants.

Harmless, peaceful tetras that thrive in high temperatures are suitable, such as cardinal and rummynose tetras. Corydoras sterbai is a good option for a bottom feeder.
