I sent him an email he says its not a goldfish, its a new strain of discus he is breeding. It looks like a goldfish but its actually been crossed with a discus. It has the boring looks of a Fancy Gold but requires expensive frozen foods, R/O water and daily mantenince to keep him healthy. He says its the best of both worlds.
