Discus - Waterchanges And Maintenence

i've been doing my research before i try keeping discus and was wondering if a 50% water change a week is ok to keep them in, if not could you please advise

Im not to sure try posting in the south american cichlids section. I think i sould be ok.

Do 3 wc/week of about 1/3 each. Discus need very clean water. Plan to do a fast vac at each wc, so consider keeping the tank bare bottom.
