1. If the tank is heavily planted, a group of 8 or 9 would be good.
2. Blue Ram, Cardinals, Bristlenose Pleco, Angelfish to name a few.
3. I couldn't help you with that, that's why I keep bare bottom tanks :p

Hi there good tank mates are tetra : cardinals, rummy nose, large neons, lemon tetra, bleeding heart tetra, glowlight tetra and so on, large enough tetra not to be eaten.

chiclids: german/blue ram, green terror chiclids, bolivian ram,

plecos: zebra pleco, golden nugget pleco, pit bull pleco, whip tail, common pleco( if tank big enough ) tiger pleco,

Corys: any

thats what i know do well with any discus :hyper:

Green Terrors are a definite no-no. Not all Tetras do well, a lot of them can't withstand the temperatures Discus live in. Not all Plecos are good with Discus either, I would only recommend Bristlenose Plecos to go with Discus. Not all Corys are good with Discus either, normally Sterbai Corys are the best.

My Discus was with Severums, sailfin pleco, bgkf and elephant nose for about 3 years and all did fine but sold all the Discus and just got one left witch is in with a razorback turtle and has been for 2 years now.

i kept green terrors with 4 blood pigeon discus for 2 years and they all got on really well :D overf the time i had all the tetra i posted with the terrors and the discus and they all rocked :D

i live in birmingham uk with very soft water so this may have helped

Are you sure they were green terrors? I doubt they would have been so nice to those Tetras and Discus...

Maybe they were blue acaras? They look almost identical as juviniles. Green terrors really live up to their name. It is very hard to find tank mates for them from what I have read.

have to agree about the corys only a few species can adapt to the high temps and sterbai seem the most common to use in these higher temps
