As some will know i got another pair from a friend a few days ago, i know they are definately a pair because i have seen the youngsters and seen them raise young.

But since moving them to my house the female is really nudgeing the male and picking on him, when i got him he was a little bit slim so im trying to fatten him up, but she seems to be chasing him away from the food everytime i put some in.

I have another pair who are absolutely great they dont fight they take turns caring for eggs and allow each other to share the food and they never ever squabble they are the perfect pair.

Is it normal for breeding pairs to squabble every now and then and could it be the move what has triggered it, they went in the same tank they were in at his because i got the tanks aswell so not too much of change for them other than enviroment

it is probably stress from being moved. Just let them settle down and they should be fine in a week or so.
You can try feeding them at a different area in the tank. That might help, otherwise just keep offering little bits at a time until they are both full. Then syphon out any uneaten food.
