Two of my fish are starting to get real nasty with the two fish in the lower part of the hierarchy. Its gotten to the point where the runts fins are pretty badly shredded. I was thinking I would grab a divider and section off a part of the tank, but do you guys think I should put the runts in the section or the bullies?

How many fish do you have? But either way I would pull out the runts but be aware of the fact that now that you have pulled out the lowest fish in the hierarchy there will be a new bottom fish that will start taking the brunt of the rest of the fish.

I have 6 fish in a 90 gallon. 30-40% w/c daily and 4 feedings a day.

Yeah I understand there always has to be someone at the bottom. The runt will just be heavily fed again to gain back strength, and some time out of the tank for his fins to heal. Then he is back in again.

what else is in the tank?

i think they may not be crowded enough so even with the space it si still the same 2 that get picked on & no others to distract...

Nothing else in the tank.

Sorry, didn't understand that sentence

You think I need more Discus to spread aggression? It's funny because I had four beforehand, and they where much less aggressive then after I added the other two. I plan on getting two more fish in a few months or so.

both to be honest... either more fish or more discus.

they get more aggressive as adults .... or perhaps they get more persistent I'm not 100% decided...
